Celeste’s High Jewelry Creations could reflect her deep connections with diverse cultural roots and connections: Asian, Islamic, and European. She is a Chinese national, and her children hold French nationality. Celeste sees herself as a global citizen along with her Chinese citizenship.
Following her ancestors’ footprints along the Silk Road centuries ago, she is determined to integrate different cultures and religions; celebrate brilliant civilizations of human history, and more to promote peace & Love in the world.
She found Jewelry creation as her utmost expression in life. She has pursued this passion since 2009, while living in Paris, dedicating 15 years to it. Through her High Jewelry creations, she wishes to share joy & happiness; to inspire others to dream and envision lights & successes in all life situations. She wants to explore and demonstrate that the value of Jewelry is much more than just being beautiful and treasurable; there are something connected to our inner selves, represents the pursuit of excellence, and signifies seeking ways to shine in the voyage of life.
As early as three years old, Celeste started creating simple designs. She described that “ just like an Expert Gemologist hunting for precious gemstones, I am constantly seeking eternal beauties in nature and in over 6000 years of human history.” Her styles are Abstract and Geometric; poetic and harmonious; simplicity and complexity. In her creative process, she explores her freedom, by picking up different styles and art movements: sometimes surrealism, Art Deco, Baroque, Rococo, or Renaissance. She swings from one style to another, within the similar centuries that cross continents or mix different periods. She combines history and art, nature and architecture; music and dance; poetry and paintings... Celeste expressed, “I want to spend my whole life journey learning in the vast ocean of knowledge and wisdom, in order to create high jewelry pieces that reflect my sensibilities and emotions, guided by my curiosities.”
In 2012, Celeste had a Duo Exhibition called “Painting & Jewelry " in Casablanca with Mr. Driss Alaoui Mdaghri, Poet, Painter, Politician, and well-known public figure in Morocco. That was Celeste's first international exhibition. Afterward, her creations have been exhibited in various Art & Fashion events while living in the region of Côte d'Azur and Jewelry & Gem Fair while living in Southeast Asia.
From November 2022 to July 2023, Celeste and her team spent 9 months creating a High Jewelry piece called “Moon Fairy & Rose”. She will present this exceptional jewelry piece at GemGenève during her exhibition in November 2023.
